Jamaica Jerk Best Jerk Wings
For me, best Jamaican Wings hands down in the city are found at Jamaica Jerk. These wings are baked instead of being fried or grilled which gives an interesting trade off. You sacrifice a crunch and any toothsome resistance in the wings for a massive boost in flavor as the wings bake in their own juices. This gives the wings a super soft consistency but an amazing taste.
The jerk they use is a wonderful blend of sweet, spicy and traditional jerk spices. These wings are fantastic in respect to their sauce. The jerk they use is both sweet and spicy and has hints of smoke which makes the prefect wing. Each order comes with a side jerk sauce with is sweet but rich in its spices. You could honestly put the sauce on a shoe and it would be delicious.
In terms of size, these wings are just average. They are expensive for their size at $1.66 per wing but the taste is well worth it. Overall, these are average or below average in everything except flavor but it heavily makes up for everything else. Jerk wings are perfect for anyone looking for a different type of wing!
