Good To Go Spicy Wings
Jerk wings galore are found at Good To Go a Jamaican cuisine restaurant with two locations in the Chicago area. Their wings are above average size with a solid amount of meat on them. I tried a jerk platter which came in three different flavors: Spicy, Jerk, and BBQ.
Now, because of the fact that the wings are grilled they don’t have a crispy exterior but it is tough to dock a restaurant for their preparation choice. These spicy wings, upper right in the photo, were actually slightly smaller than the others in the same plater which I found interesting. They did have a perfect cook like all the rest but in the flavor department they were lacking. Their “spice” was not present and tasted like a light buffalo wing. I found myself putting the side Jerk Sauce (from the other wings) on top of these Spicy ones.
Their price point is above average for the amount of wing you get ($1.50 per medium sized wing) and I would recommend trying a different flavor instead. Slightly tangy, slightly spicy, and as a result very mediocre is the verdict on these wings.
