10Q Chicken Kangnam Style
While 10Q Chicken has many types of chicken dishes, my favorite are the wings. More specifically the kangnam style, their sweet, spicy Korean style flavor, wings. Coming in batches of 5, 10, or 15 gargantuan wings plan accordingly as portion sizes are quite large. Both mild and spicy variants of the Kangnam wing are delicious. Mild wings have a much heavier emphasis on the sweet profile while the spicy have much more soy and, like the name suggests, spice. Pro tip, when wanting the perfect balance between sweet and heat ask for a mixture of the two sauces. This gives the sweetness of the mild sauce and a tamer heat.
Both styles of wings are perfectly fried and stay crispy even after take out or delivery trips. They are coated in a light batter that is coated with the sauce of your choice and finally dusted with sesame seeds. Besides the flavor these wings have another bonus, their value. At a 1.10 per large wing this is one of the best deals that one can find. 10Q Chicken have kept their prices consistent with both pre-pandemic and pre-shortage markets. I find this commendable and another reason to support this great restaurant.
UPDATE: Since the first review over a year ago 10Q has moved to smaller wings. While the price remains the same, the amazing value of the chicken has gone down.
